Story Time Idea: CROSSINGS by Katy Duffield

A story idea that will complement this week's "wilderness" Summer Challenge theme! Read Crossings: Extraordinary Structures for Extraordinary Animals by Katy Duffield, illustrated by Mike Orodán. Talk about the various structures in the book, and what animal you would choose to protect in this way if you could. Then build your own "crossing" out of blocks or other materials.
