Summer Challenge

The Summer Challenge is an annual event during which we encourage adults and children to read and do bookish activities together. We believe extending the magic of story time with discussions and follow-up activities not only enhances the reading experience but helps create connections between readers. The 2024 Summer Challenge was a Reading Road Trip! We created a map that led us to various stops on our journey, with thematic lists to fit each stop. Construction zones, scenic overlooks, mountaintops, amusement parks, and more!

Here are a few highlights!

We explored caves on our stop at Adventure Mountain

We enjoyed relaxing and beautiful scenery at the shore

We view some breathtaking sights at scenic overlooks!

The Summer Challenge 2025 will start up again in June and will go for ten weeks. We hope you'll join us! Sign up for our newsletter using the form below!
